Class 8 student dies after drowning in stream

KARWAR: A student died after she drowned in a stream here on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Dhanya Gowda Kanchal. She was a student of Class 8.

On Wednesday, Dhanya had gone to the Harlagundi stream in Siddapur to bathe. As she did not know how to swim, she drowned and died. A case has been registered at the Siddapura police station.
