BENGALURU: In view of the upcoming Assembly election the Income Tax Department has opened a control room for election-related frauds which will be open 24/7 till the date of polling.
In a statement, the I-T Department said any complaint regarding distribution of cash, freebies or any inducements by any person or parties can be shared with the department by contacting the control room or through email. The identities of those sharing information will be kept confidential, the department said.
