Man gets life term for smothering wife to death, destroying evidence

BENGALURU: A trial court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for murdering his wife and later destroying evidence.

About six years ago, Kailash Chand had smothered his wife Malathi with a pillow over suspicion about her illegal affair. The Kamakshipalya police had filed a chargesheet in the case.
