UDUPI: A man committed suicide by dousing himself in petrol and setting himself on fire inside his car, at Mandkur village in Karkala taluk on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Saphaliga (46).
It is said that Krishna was depressed over some land dispute and financial problems. He had also fought with his elder brother over the land issue. The Karkala Rural police have registered a case.
