Amit Shah to lay foundation stone for forensic science university facility

DHARWAD: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone for an off-campus facility of the National Forensic Sciences University at the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) campus in Dharwad on January 28.

Land has been earmarked for the construction of the forensic university facility on the premises of agriculture university. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has inspected the site and had approved its construction on 50 acres of land in Saidapur village.

Land belonging to the University of Agricultural Sciences has been finalised for the National Forensic Sciences University facility.

The Dharwad district deputy commissioner has submitted a proposal to the Additional Chief Secretary of the State Government that the land of Saidapur village, belonging to the agriculture university, is suitable for the construction of the forensic science university campus.
