BENGALURU: Six people, including four men and two women, were detained for drinking alcohol and smoking in front of the park near Vidhana Soudha police station on Sunday afternoon.
The group of six, including four men and two women, came in a car to the park and started drinking and smoking right in front of passersby. The police came to the lawn and detained them. Later, they were taken to the police station.
Citizens have expressed outrage over their behaviour in the park, which is surrounded by Vidhana Soudha, the Karnataka High Court, numerous government offices and a college.
