The three-day Bengaluru Tech Summit starts on Wednesday.

BENGALURU: The 25th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit is set to kick off at Palace Grounds on Wednesday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating it virtually.

Briefing media persons on Tuesday, IT/BT Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan said the three-day event will see the participation of ministers from various other countries besides 350 start-ups from different states, including 16 from Karnataka. There will also be special lecture sessions.

Delegates from many countries will be participating.

Organised by the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S&T, Government of Karnataka and and co-hosted by STPI, Bengaluru Technology Summit will bring together established businesses across technologies, talented individuals, researchers, consultants, academia, professionals and other stakeholders.

Minister Ashwath Narayan said 200 delegates will take part in the seminars and the speakers will also be from different countries. Representatives from 50 countries including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, European Union, Canada and other countries will be present.

The Bengaluru Tech Summit, which will be on till November 18, will see nine MoUs being signed and 20+ products being released.
