SHIVAMOGGA: Two youths, who went for a swim in the Tunga river in Thirthahalli have been missing since Monday evening. The youths went into the river near the new bridge at Bale Bail in Thirthahalli town.
Shivu (24) from Ballur village in Davangere and Rudresh (22) from Metleri near Ranebennur in Haveri taluk had come to Thirthahalli for labour work. They went swimming in the Tunga river on Monday evening and have been missing.
A search operation was launched by the fire brigade and police. The incident occurred in Thirthahalli Town police station limits.
