BENGALURU: Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) personnel threatened and abused in foul language a car driver who questioned flouting of the one-way rule near Nanjappa Circle on the Bengaluru-Hosur Road on Monday night.

The KSRP personnel stopped the driver of a Range Rover and surrounded the SUV, creating a traffic jam for some time. The KSRP bus was coming via Nanjappa Circle in Akkithimmanahalli, violating the one-way rule.

A video of the KSRP personnel arrogantly surrounding the car on the road, threatening and abusing the car driver has gone viral on social media. The incident occurred around 7 pm on Monday in Ashok Nagar traffic police limits right in front of traffic police personnel.

Citizens have expressed outrage over the high-handed behaviour of the police.
