BENGALURU: The Basavanagar main road near HAL will be closed for 20 days from October 10 to facilitate construction of a stormwater drain bridge near near Vibhutipura lake by the Greater Bengaluru Authority. Due to the construction activity, traffic restrictions will be in place during the period.
Vehicular movement will be diverted through alternative route for those going to Vijnana Nagar from Marathahalli, HAL side. There will be traffic restriction from Vibhutipura, Basavanagar to Kaggadasapura, Malleshpalya side also.
There will also be restriction for vehicles coming towards Basavanagar from Vijnana Nagar, Kaggadasapura, Malleshpalya and those travelling from BEML side to Marathahalli, HAL side will also face trouble.
The traffic restrictions have been put in place by the HAL traffic police to avoid traffic congestion and vehicle users use have been advised to take alternative routes before travelling on Basavanagar main road.
