KOLAR: Narcotic substances worth lakhs of rupees were seized in two separate cases by the Oorgaum and Bangarapet police. The seized substances include MDMA and ganja.
A group of youths was involved in consumption and sale of narcotic substances in a eucalyptus grove beside the KGF-Valagamadi Road in Kolar district. The police arrested Bangarapet taluk residents Shrijesh, Mohammad Ismail,
Rufus Paul and Santosh from Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh. and seized 12.43 grams MDMA, other substances and equipment used for consumption of narcotic substance seized.
Six mobile phones, two electronic weighing machines, two smoke inhalation products, 19 empty plastic covers, 87 ziplock cover, one MacBook Air laptop, one power bank, seven pen drives, one memory card reader and two memory cards apart from one Maruti Suzuki Brezza car and one Honda Unicorn two-wheeler from them.
The Bangarapet police arrested one person who was selling ganja near the phalavathimmanahalli crematorium. They also seized 8 kg of ganja worth Rs 4 lakh from the accused Rahul Kumar Yadav (21),w who hails from Bihar, KGF SP Shivanshu Rajput said.
