HASSAN: A huge monitor lizard, about five feet long, was spotted near a house in Lingapura village of Belur taluk, much to the surprise of locals. Visuals of the monitor lizard were captured on mobile phones.
Residents who saw the monitor lizard curiously watched its movements for some time. It is special that the monitor lizard which is generally found in forests, bushes and hilly areas has appeared near a house in a residential area.
