BENGALURU: Crazy about the Korean trend, a 13-year-old girl, who, tried to leave the city with plans of travelling to Korea, was rescued by the Chandra Layout police.

The girl, who had come from Hebbagodi to Attiguppe, had left home saying she wants to go to Korea. Assistant Sub-Inspector Devaraj rescued the girl when she was roaming without ticket at the Attibele Metro station.

The Korean style had influenced the 13-year-old girl, who had changed her expressions and attire. She was apparently watching Korean movies and songs on her parents’ mobile phones all through the night. Influenced by this, she had decided to go to Korea. The police managed to convince the girl and sent her home.

Of late, many young children are being adversely influenced Korean drama, especially the BTS music album. These incidents highlight that parents need to be careful with their children and keep track of what children are watching on mobile phones.
