CHIKKABALLAPUR: The principal of a government residential school near Dibburahalli in Sidlaghatta taluk has been accused of sexually harassing a minor girl student. The student has given a complaint against the residential school principal Eshwar Reddy, and a case has been registered at the Dibburahalli police station.
According to complaint, the principal took her to a room and behaved inappropriately and sexually harassed her. Even though student expressed opposition, harassment continued it is alleged. After the incident, the student came out of room crying, and upon noticing this, a co-teacher inquired with the student. At this time, the student wrote complaint against the principal and gave it to the co-teacher.
Based on the student’s complaint, the Dibburahalli police have registered case. Presently, the victim has been given shelter in girls’ Bal Mandir for protection and necessary care.
