CHITRADURGA: A man died tragically after a car rammed into people standing by the roadside near T Nulenuru in Holalkere taluk, Chitradurga district on Tuesday. As a result, one youth died on the spot and another woman suffered a broken leg.
In the horrific road accident, a car suddenly rammed into a group of people standing on the footpath by the roadside. The car lost control and veered on to the footpath, crashing into those standing there.
In the accident, Pradeep (30) from Dagge village, Holalkere taluk, died on the spot. The injured woman has been immediately admitted to hospital and is undergoing treatment. The horrific visuals of the car accident were captured on a nearby CCTV camera. A case has been registered at Chitrahalli police station and further investigation is on.
