At least 13 passengers injured as two BMTC buses collide near KR circle in Bengaluru, driver seriously hurt

BENGALURU: At least 13 passengers and a bus driver were seriously injured after two Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses collided near KR Circle in Bengaluru on Saturday morning.

According to police, one BMTC bus rammed into another from behind. The injured passengers were shifted to St Martha’s Hospital for treatment. Locals struggled to free one woman passenger who was seated behind the driver, as her leg had got stuck.

The driver of one of the buses sustained critical injuries and was also admitted to the hospital. Further details awaited. (ANI)
