KOLAR: Three cars were reduced to ashes, while two cars were burnt after a fire broke out in a car garage due to an electrical short circuit near S.G. Kote in Bangarapet taluk on Monday night.
The fire broke out at Chowdeshwari Car Service Centre belonging to one Eeranna. While cars were burnt to ashes, two cars parked outside were partially damaged. The service centre was damaged by the fire, and it is said that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. However, this needs to be confirmed by Fire Department officials.
Since there were no workers in the car service centre at the time, there was no loss of life, but assets worth lakhs of rupees, including the building, were destroyed. As soon as the fire broke out, the Bangarapet Fire Department extinguished the fire. Bangarapet police visited the spot, conducted an inspection, and registered a case.
