KOLAR: The Kolar district administration has imposed a ban on organising cattle fairs and transportation for a month in order to curb the spread of Lumpy skin disease in cattle.
Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja issued an order imposing a ban on cattle trading, as Lumpy cases are increasing in the state and other states as well.
As a precautionary measure, cattle are not being permitted to enter from outside the state or transported within the district.
