BENGALURUL: After Bowring Hospital, now another major government hospital has demolished part of a compound wall along a main road used by lakhs of vehicles. Following the Bowring Hospital tragedy, authorities are on alert and demolished the tree and the wall.

The Medical Education Department has demolished a compound wall of Minto Eye Hospital where a large tree had grown adjacent to the wall. The tree was in a precarious position, leaning toward the main road leading to K R Market.
As the tree was leaning, the wall had also tilted. There are around ten shops in front of the wall. The dangerous tree and wall have now been cleared. If they hadn’t been removed, the tree and wall could have collapsed on to vehicle users and the shops, causing a disaster.
