Two injured as two groups clash near Dharwad

DHARWAD: A clash between two groups over a trivial issue has left two people seriously injured in Chikkamalligawad village near Dharwad. Ashfaq Pathan and Saibaj Jamadar, both from Dharwad, were attacked by a group of people after a dispute at a resort near the village.

The incident was captured on CCTV, and the police have registered a case against five people identified as Ulappa Dharwad, Raju Kori, Shivappa Kallur, Ningappa Naduvinmani and Mudukappa Kademani.

The injured are receiving treatment, and one of them is in a critical condition. The police are investigating the matter.
