BENGALURU: Waste is piling up in several parts of the city, apparently due to a clash garbage between auto drivers and contractors over segregation of waste.

The dispute has arisen over who is responsible for segregating the waste — the contractors or the auto drivers.Residents are dumping mixed waste, making it difficult for the authorities to segregate it.

The issue has led to heaps of unsegregated waste on the streets, particularly on KG Road. Despite assurances, the problem persists, and it’s unclear when the waste will be cleared. The situation remains to be seen.
