VIJAYAPURA: Two people died and two others sustained injuries after their car overturned on the Basavana Bagewadi-Talikota highway in Vijayapura district on Friday.
The victims, Chandravva Takkenavar (70) and Kamappa Ahradi (65), were from Kagwad in Belagavi district, and were travelling to Srisailam in Andhra Pradesh. The police have registered a case, and an investigation is under way.
