KOLAR: A police head constable was killed in a road accident while on night patrol in Panasamakalahalli, near Srinivaspura on Thursday. The accident occurred at around 4 am when a Mahindra Bolero MUV hit Anand Babu (45).
Babu was serving at the Srinivaspura police station for the past one-and-half years. Kolar SP Kanika Sikhriwal visited the scene and reviewed the incident. An investigation is under way.
