BENGALURU: Two youths, who were heading to morning namaz prayers, died in a head-on collision between two two-wheelers near Venkateshwara Metro station in KG Halli police station limits on Thursday morning. Two others were seriously injured in the crash.
The accident happened when two scooters collided head-on, throwing the riders off their vehicles. The incident was captured on CCTV. The victims, Syed Aryan Pasha (23), died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries in hospital. The two injured are receiving treatment at a hospital.
The police have registered a case at KG Halli traffic police station. The accident occurred during the holy month of Ramzan, when many Muslims were heading to morning prayers.
