BENGALURU: A massive fire broke out at a plastic warehouse in Doddakammanahalli on the Bannerghatta Road, causing significant damage. The fire, believed to have been caused by an electrical short circuit, occurred around midnight.
Firefighters worked hard to extinguish the flames, but the situation remains precarious. The warehouse is located near a gas cylinder storage area, posing a significant risk of a larger disaster if the fire spreads. The proximity of the had raised concerns among the firefighters and local residents, as it could have led to a catastrophic explosion.
The estimated loss is in lakhs, and the incident is under investigation. The fire department urged people to stay away from the area until the situation was brought under control.
