YADGIR: A 15-year-old student, Pavan, allegedly committed suicide at his school at Vadgera in Yadgir district after allegedly being scolded by teachers. The police have now a case against six teachers, including the headmaster Ayyappa.

The 9th standard student at the government high school in Vadgera was found dead on January 21 in the school premises. The student’s family members alleged that Pavan was scolded by his teachers, which led to his decision to take his own life. Based on the complaint filed by Pavan’s father Mallappa, the Vadgera police have registered a case against six teachers.

As per the complaint, Pavan was scolded by his teachers, which led to him feeling distressed and ultimately taking the extreme step. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter to determine the exact circumstances surrounding Pavan’s death.
