BENGALURU: A 34‑year‑old man suffered a heart attack while riding a two-wheeler, but sadly, none of the passersby came forward to help his wife and he died in the middle of the road. The wife, who tried to save her husband’s life by pleading with passersby, received no help from anyone. The scene was captured on CCTV footage.
The deceased, Venkataramana, a resident of Balaji Nagar, Ittamadu in Banashankari 3rd Stage, met his unfortunate end. Around 3.30 am on that day. he experienced chest pain at home, became severely ill and vomited. Afterwards, the couple headed out on their bike to a private hospital near Katriguppe Janata Bazaar.
Since there was no doctor available, they were directed to another private hospital nearby. At that hospital, an ECG revealed a mild heart attack. However, they were not given primary treatment and were told to go to Jayadeva Hospital. No ambulance was provided; they were told to leave quickly.

They were taken to a nearby private hospital, but unfortunately Venkataraman passed away on the way. Despite the loss, the family has taken a humane step by donating his eyes, hoping that his death will bring light to others’ lives.
