BENGALURU: Ahead of New Year celebrations, the city police and the Central Crime Branch (CCB) are planning various measures to curb peddling, sale and consumption of narcotics.
On New Year’s Eve, partygoers bring narcotic drugs to consume at rave parties. Therefore, the CCB police are gathering information about the locations where rave parties are usually held and also about their organisers.
The CCB police have already come to knew about those who have already planned to organise a rave party for the New Year. Earlier, those who arranged rave parties on the outskirts of Bengaluru and were caught by the CCB are also being monitored.
The CCB is working on information that some people have already planned to organise rave parties for the New Year and is now conducting surveillance to find out which locations are being prepared for such parties.
