BENGALURU: A woman was allegedly assaulted by a man and abused for asking what he was doing to her house wall. The incident occurred within the Kodigehalli police station limits. The victim is Chitrakala.
The incident happened next to Chitrakala’s house, where workers of Pawan Kumar, who were building a structure, were drilling on Chitrakala’s house wall without her knowledge. When she asked why they were doing so on their wall, the man suddenly used abusive language at her and assaulted her.
In CCTV footage, Pawan Kumar can be seen pulling Chitrakala by the hair, who was standing in front of the house, threw her to the ground, and assaulted her with a rod.
She alleged that the accused threatened her with an acid attack. The police have registered an FIR against a total of five people, including Pawan Kumar, his mother Padmavati, his wife Bhagya, and his father.
