BENGALURU: After sealing of the Vels Studio (Jollywood) and Entertainment Limited, the contestants and crew of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12, were shifted to the Eagleton Resort near Bidadi in Bengaluru South district.
The studio was shut down due to alleged environmental regulation violations and the contestants were relocated to the resort overnight. The studio’s restaurant was also closed and arrangements were made for food from outside.
The Jollywood administration has approached the Bengaluru South district Deputy Commissioner (DC) seeking permission to reopen the studio, citing the livelihood of over 400 workers and the ongoing production of Bigg Boss.
The health department also visited the studio to inspect alleged water contamination and its impact on public health but was denied entry by security. The studio administration has requested a 15-day grace period to rectify the issues.
