BENGALURU: A passenger jumped onto the metro tracks at Majestic (Nadaprabhu Kempegowda) metro station, apparently in an attempt to end his life. The incident occurred on the Green Line, between Majestic and Silk Institute stations, at 3.19 pm on Saturday.
The individual was stuck under a Metro train and service was temporarily halted on the third platform as the authorities were making efforts to tackle the situation.
In March 2024, a man attempted to take his own life by jumping onto the tracks at Attiguppe metro station on the Purple Line. Thankfully, the Metro train was stopped just in time, preventing a tragedy.
