BENGALURU: A group of miscreants assaulted a cabbie, who was resting inside the vehicle which was parked near Baiyappanahalli railway station on September 17.
The cab driver Mounesh parked his car and slept inside. Meanwhile, a group of miscreants came and spat on the car, breaking the glass. The miscreants were allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
When Mounesh asked why they broke the glass, they forced him to roll down the window, pulled him out and brutally punched and abused him. They pulled him out of the car, snatched his phone and hurled abuses in Tamil while beating him.
Mounesh, a resident of Hosakote’s Chikka Hulluru Gate, has filed a complaint with the Banaswadi police station. The police are conducting a search to identify the culprits.
