BENGALURU: A BMTC bus driver assaulted a woman passenger after a scuffle broke out between them over a trivial matter at NTTF Circle in Peenya around 6.30 pm on Monday.
The altercation began with a verbal exchange, which escalated into physical assault. However, the reason for the altercation was not known.
The woman allegedly hit the driver first, and in a fit of rage, the driver assaulted her back. The incident took place on an electric bus, and it’s unclear what sparked the argument between the two.
