BENGALURU: A policeman allegedly assaulted a BMTC bus driver in Bengaluru for not giving way to his car. The incident occurred around 11 pm at the Oil mill bus depot.
According to reports, the police personnel rammed his car into the bus and verbally abused the driver, identified as Sunil, using foul language. The situation escalated, and the police personnel physically assaulted Sunil.

The BMTC drivers are outraged over the incident and have refused to operate buses from the depot. They are demanding the arrest of the police personnel involved in the assault. The drivers are standing in solidarity with Sunil and have staged a protest not to resume work until the police personnel are apprehended.
The incident has sparked concerns about the safety and well-being of public transport staff in Bengaluru. The altercation between the police personnel and the bus driver was captured on a CCTV camera.
The drivers from Jigani Bus Depot 27 are determined to get justice for their colleague and are refusing to back down until action is taken against the police personnel.
