RAICHUR: A part of the ceiling at the Raichur bus stand came crashing down on Tuesday, narrowly missing a KKRTC traffic controller and some passengers. A tense moment prevailed briefly after the incident.
Over the last three days, it has been raining continuously and the ceiling of the bus stand had become damp, leading to a part of it chipping off. This is the second time that the ceiling has collapsed at Platform 6 at the bus stand.
Regular commuters pointed out that the authorities undertaken only quickfix solutions whenever such incidents occur and don’t bother to get the damage repaired completely.
