Chikkaballapur police to issue notice to MP Sudhakar after ZP car driver commits suicide

CHIKKABALLAPUR: The Chikkaballapur Rural police are preparing to issue a notice to Chikkaballapur MP Dr K Sudhakar after a car driver zilla panchayat chief accounts officer committed suicide. The car driver had mentioned the names of Dr Sudhakar and two other — Nagesh and Manjunath — in his death note.

The FIR registered in the suicide case of Babu M, based on a complaint by his wife Shilpa, has named Sudhakar as the main accused, and Nagesh and Manjunath as the second and third accused. Nagesh and Manjunath have been accused of taking Rs 25 lakh from Babu with the promise of getting him a government job and claiming that they knew Sudhakar well.

While the MP is in Delhi, attending the monsoon session of Parliament, Nagesh and Manjunath are absconding and their phones are switched offf. The police are on the lookout for the duo. Meanwhile, the last rites of Babu were conduced at his native Idagud village in Gouribidanur taluk. His wife Shilpa and mother Kalamma have demanded that his death be investigated properly and the family ensured justice.
