BENGALURU: Actor Darshan returned to Bengaluru from Thailand on Friday night, where he was filming for the movie ‘Devil’. He arrived at Kempegowda International Airport at 11.45 pm with his wife Vijayalakshmi.

Darshan had travelled to Thailand 10 days ago with his family and close associate Dhanveer to shoot for the film ‘Devil’.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is set to deliver its verdict on the bail plea of Darshan and other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. The court has reserved its order and is likely to pronounce it within a week.

Upon his return to Bengaluru, Darshan was provided security by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at the airport, sparking widespread discussion.

The Supreme Court had questioned the bail granted to Darshan and other accused, including Pavithra Gowda, and pulled up the Karnataka High Court for its decision. The court’s observations have raised concerns about the possibility of the bail being cancelled.

The Supreme Court has directed the parties to submit written arguments, and a verdict is expected soon.
