SHIVAMOGGA: One man died and four others injured, one seriously, after a head-on collision between a car and a lorry in Beguvalli near Tudur in Thirthahalli taluk of Shivamogga district.
The lorry was on its way from Shivamogga to Thirthahalli while the car was coming from Mangaluru to Shivamogga. The collision caused severe damage to the car. There were five occupants in the car; one of them died, and four others, including children, were injured.
The Maluru police visited the spot and have registered a case. Further investigation is under way.
