Police arrest HR staffer of pvt firm for cheating many of lakhs with promise of high-paying jobs

BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have arrested the HR manager of a private company, Pathnool Kalandar Khan, for cheating job aspirants by promising them placements in top companies like Microsoft and Bosch software companies.

Khan, who was targeting jobseekers, would promise them high-paying jobs in reputable companies and demand money from them. He would convince them that they needed to pay Rs 2.7 lakh to secure a job.

Delhi: MBA And BTech Graduates Pose As Job Recruiters, Cheat Over 100 AspirantsEight job aspirants, including a woman named Geeta, were cheated of a total of Rs 14.23 lakh. The police investigation revealed that Khan had cheated several other aspirants as well. Geeta lodged a complaint against Khan.

The police have registered a case and arrested Khan, recovering Rs 1.5 lakh from him. The police are now searching for Khan’s accomplices, Viresh and Inayat, who helped him in the scam.
