CHIKKAMAGALUR: The Charmadi Ghat witnessed a massive traffic pile-up after two trucks broke down on the road near Alekhan Horatti in Mudigere taluk on Thursday.
As a result, vehicles were piled up for kilometres on both sides. Traffic slowly cleared only after a section of the retaining wall was broken to make more space for vehicles to pass.
