MANDYA: A young woman committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train near Bandigowda Layout in Mandya city. The deceased was identified as Suhana (19), daughter of ASI Pasha of the Mandya Armed Reserve Police. She was a first-year BA student in Mysuru.
Suhana returned home from college as usual, took her bike, and went to Bandigowda Layout. There, she jumped in front of the moving Chamundi Express train, ending her life.
The exact reason behind her suicide is not known yet and the police are investigating the matter. Mandya Railway police have arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, and registered a case. Further inquiry is under way.
