BIDAR: A bus belonging to the Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) was completely gutted after it caught fire due to an electrical short circuit, near Kappikere Cross in Aurad taluk on Wednesday. Luckily, all the passengers were safe.
The bus was on its was from Bidar to Aurad when fire broke out. Acting quickly, the bus driver and conductor got the passengers to disembar. In a videos, thick smoke can be seen emanating from the bus.
On receiving information, the Fire and Emergency Services personnel arrived on the scene and had a tough time putting out the blaze. The incident occurred in Santhpur police station limits.
