BENGALURU: A Kerala-based entrepreneur went missing from Bengaluru, causing a headache for the police. His friends, who were worried, filed a missing person’s complaint at High Ground police. However, it was later discovered that Gridhik had intentionally switched off his phone and travelled to Mumbai after being upset over an unsuccessful business deal.
After the businessman went incommunicado, his friends, who were searching for him, had informed the High Grounds police station, prompting a massive search operation. Unaware of Gridhik’s whereabouts, the police started searching for him everywhere as soon as the complaint was filed, tracking his movements through CCTV footage at the airport. Despite the search, the businessman was not found.
Gridhik was accompanied by his friends Krishnakumar, Riyas and Gayatri. The friends, who were came to Bengaluru on February 18, went to hang out in Bengaluru, but Gridhik attended a business meeting at a private hotel. He got upset because the business deal did not go well, turned off his mobile, and went to Mumbai.
The friends who searched for Gridhik were shocked. The police searched for a suspect who had been kidnapped. Later, Gridhik called his friends saying he was in Mumbai, and informed them that he was safe and sound. The police were relieved to know that Gridhik was not kidnapped, but had instead left Bengaluru due to depression.
