BENGALURU: Upset over domestic abuse from her alcoholic husband, a pregnant woman committed suicide at her house in Shivanapur near Nelamangala on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Soundarya.
Soundary and Santosh fell in love and got married a year ago. They were working for the same company. According to a police source, Santosh was an alcoholic and abused her every day. He had stopped working and also harassed her for money. Upset over this, she committed suicide. Soundaryas’s family has accused Santosh of murdering her.
A case has been registered at the Madanayakanahalli police station. The police have arrested Santosh and are interrogating him.
