A prostitution racket was allegedly being run from a spa in Shivamogga.

SHIVAMOGGA: The police on Thursday rescued six women and arrested two persons after a raid on a spa and salon from where a sex racket was allegedly being run.

A case has been registered against two people at the Shivamogga women’s police station.

The police raided Royal Arch Family Salon and Spa in the city where women from other parts had been trafficked and pushed into prostitution. Six women were rescued after the raid.

Cases have been registered against Gopal Y and Vidyashree at the women’s police station in this connection.
