5,714 two-wheelers stolen in the last year in Bengaluru, 4,210 recovered so far

BENGALURU: The alarming rise in bike thefts has become a challenge for the police. The numbers could leave citizens in shock.

According to police sources, Bengaluru saw an average of 15 bike thefts daily, totalling 5,714 two-wheeler thefts in the last one year. However, 4,210 bikes recovered while the remaining 1,503 two-wheelers remain untraced so far.
