ANEKAL: A four-year-old boy died after he accidentally fell into the lake while playing at Gattahalli in Anekal taluk on outskirts of Bengaluru on Monday. The victim is Shakti and his parents hail from Agrahara on Magadi Road.
The boy had come to his grandmother’s house for summer vacation in Naganathapura near Parappa Agrahara. After the incident, the fire brigade personnel conducted a search operation for about 24 hours and fished out the body.
The boy’s parents initially obstructed the post-mortem examination, but were convinced later to. A case has been registered at Hebbagodi police station.
