KARWAR: Four members of a family were stabbed to death at Hadavalli in Bhatkal taluk on Friday. The deceased have been identified as Shambu Bhat (65), his second wife Mahadevi Bhat (40), his son Rajiv Bhat (34) and his wife Kusuma Bhat (30).
They were found dead on Friday afternoon and it is suspected that the motive for the crime is some property issues. A case has been registered at the Bhatkal Rural police station. The police visited the spot and further investigation is under way.
