RAMANAGARA: Four people died and several others were injured when a private bus crashed into the road divider on the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway early on Monday morning.
The accident occurred near Puttappanadoddi in Channapatna taluk when the bus, which was travelling from Kerala to Bengaluru collided with the divider. The bus, belonging to PK Travels, was carrying several passengers, and the impact of the crash was so severe that four people were killed on the spot, and several others suffered minor injuries.
The deceased were reportedly from Kerala. The bodies have been shifted to Channapatna public hospital. The Police, including SP Srinivas Gowda, have visited the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident. The injured are receiving treatment, and authorities are providing necessary assistance to the victims’ families.
