CHIKKAMAGALUR: Three people, including a woman, have been arrested for sexual assault on students of a residential school in Kadur police limits. The arrested are Suresh, a Group D employee of the residential school, nurse Chandana and her boyfriend Vinay.
According to police sources, Suresh would lure some of the girls of the residential school in the guise of getting them into para nursing courses. He would convince them that they would get jobs if they passed the exam and would leave them with Chandana who would keep them at the primary health centre.
The nurse would them give them beverages laced with intoxicants and when the girls were in a semi-conscious state, her boyfriend Vinay would sexually assault them, the sources said. Investigation revealed that this has been going on for several months, police said.
